When comparing images at different wavelengths, check that the spatial
resolution is comparable! This matters, particularly for mid- and far-IR
observations (see 'diffraction' below).

images, intensities are often translated to colors ("false color"). Image
colors are often selected to emphasize different details than are discernable
in a black-and-white image. |
