6.9.1 Naming the AOR
It is recommended that proposers give unique names to their
Astronomical Observation Requests (AORs; i.e., completed AOTs)
to aid in identifying a particular AOR after proposal submission.
When a new AOT window is opened, Spot assigns a default name
derived from the instrument and observing mode, and a sequence
number. This default label is shown at the top of the AOT entry
window (see Figure 6.3). For
example, ``IRSS-0000'' indicates an IRS Staring Mode observation
with sequence number 0000 (the sequence number is incremented
each time a new AOT is opened in a Spot session). Rename this
AOT to ``IRS_cookbook-example1'' by selecting the default text
in the ``Unique AOR Label'' box and typing the new name.
