7.7 Filling Out the IRS Spectral Mapping
Mode AOT

A new IRS Spectral Mapping Mode AOT entry window is accessed in Spot in much the same way as the IRS Staring Mode AOT window. Either select the ``IRS Spectral Mapping'' option from the ``Observation'' pull-down menu, or click on the spectral-mapping icon (the blue wiggle with a ``chain'' under it), eighth from the right on the taskbar. The IRS Spectral Mapping Mode AOT entry window will appear as illustrated in Figure 7.4. The IRS Spectral Mapping AOT is very similar in appearance to the IRS Staring AOT; only the ``Instrument Settings'' section is substantially different. We now consider each of the AOT sections (remember to rename the AOR as described in the IRS Staring Mode chapter of this Cookbook, and to fill in any timing constraints as described in §7.4 of this chapter).
