The Spitzer warm mission will focus on a new type of observing program called Exploration Science (ES) which require more than 500 hours of Spitzer observing time. ES programs provide an opportunity for large-scale investigations not possible during the cryogenic mission. In Cycle-6 35 ES proposals were submitted requesting a total of 38,050 hours. Ten proposals were selected using a total of 10,345 hours of Spitzer observing time, to be executed over two years.
