What is available?

GLIMPSE delivers images and source lists. This page contains deliveries and schedules for GLIMPSE, GLIMPSE II, and GLIMPSE 3D. Delivery dates are marked "GI", "GII", or "GIII" for those of you keeping track of exactly which program it comes from.

Please note that when a Legacy team delivers enhanced data products to IRSA, the data must go through a quality assurance (QA) and ingestion process before being available through IRSA search engines, and this process does not happen instantaneously. Direct data access to a more recent delivery may contain errors that will be caught by the QA process; an IRSA search of an older delivery permits access to data that have passed the QA process. (More information about IRSA services, the QA process, etc.)

For the data that have passed the QA process, IRSA provides a number of services connected to the GLIMPSE data, specifically:

The GLIMPSE team recommends that new users start with these documents: GLIMPSE I data products FINAL DOCUMENT (v. 2.0), GLIMPSE II data products (v. 1.1), GLIMPSE II data products (v. 2.0), GLIMPSE 3D data products (v. 1.0), GLIMPSE photometry (v. 1.0), GLIMPSE quality assurance (v. 1.0). Also see this alternate listing of GLIMPSE deliveries, sorted by hemisphere and longitude.
