Report from AAS-Atlanta Workshop

The SIRTF Science Center (SSC) and the SIRTF Project Office at JPL hosted the Sixth Annual SIRTF Community Workshop on Saturday, January 15th, 2000 at the Atlanta meeting of the American Astronomical Society. The Workshop was conducted as Session 119 of the AAS meeting, and was held in the Regency VII room at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, host site of the meeting. The focus of the session was on the SIRTF Legacy Science Program, and on the imminent release of the associated Call for Proposals. SIRTF/SSC staff provided presentations describing: the latest status of the mission (less than 2 years to launch!), the First-Look Survey (FLS), a series of five talks about various aspects of the Legacy Science Program, and an overview of the SSC pipleine data products.

The oral presentations are listed below, and copies of the slide presentations used for each talk are available by clicking on the relevant link.
