General Questions about Bandmerge

Q. How do I get hold of a copy of Bandmerge?
A. Bandmerge is currently being redeveloped by the SSC. A beta-test version will be available in a couple of months. If you are interested in being a Bandmerge beta-tester then please follow the instructions on the obtaining Bandmerge page.

Q. Can I use Bandmerge to combine tables of Spitzer photometry with photometry from other catalogues?
A. Yes, but it has to be in the same format as the Spitzer ASCII tables before you can do that. The only exception is 2MASS data, which can be read directly by Bandmerge if you set the project flag to 2 (1 is the default and applies to Spitzer data). e.g.
bandmerge -i /data/ch1.tbl /data/ch2.tbl -p 2 -o output/outputfile.bm
