There is also an updated SPOT User's Guide to go with it. These items can be downloaded or accessed from the Proposal Kit area on the SSC website. http://sirtf.caltech.edu/SSC/propkit/ The automatic update feature will work to go from version 6.3 to this version. Some of the new features in this release are: + The sequence constraint now includes a time duration in which the sequence must be completed. + We have added 'tabs' to the main AOR screen to allow easier management of the AOR list and images. + Timing constraints on a single AOR that overlap each other are not allowed. + Programs for viewing may be selected by program ID as well as name. In addition to the items associated with the SPOT 7 release, several interesting pages in the SSC hierarchy have been recently created or updated, including the following: + New PCRS catalog notes and the catalog itself. + Updated information on Galactic FLS and Ecliptic FLS -- several targets had to be updated for an April (rather than January) launch. + An updated document on how scheduling is anticipated to work. + A new document on Constraint Definitions, Hints, and Tips. + A new collection of SPOT hints, tips, and tricks. + A new data table with field-of-view rotation as a function of ecliptic latitude. + A new form for collecting cover sheet information for DDT applications. + An updated blackout schedule. + A list of approved DDT abstracts. All of these documents are linked from the news items page here: http://sirtf.caltech.edu/SSC/news/index.html#newdocs cheers, SIRTF Observer Support
