You cannot resubmit your proposal verbatim from previous Cycles. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Spitzer Space Telescope Cycle-4 Call for Proposals ------------------------------------------------------------------ Release Date: 1 November 2006 Proposal Deadline: February 14, 2007, 5:00 PM PST On behalf of NASA and the Spitzer Space Telescope Project, the Spitzer Science Center (SSC) at Caltech is pleased to announce the release of the Cycle-4 Call for Proposals (CP) for Spitzer Space Telescope General Observations (GO) and funding for Archival Research (AR) and Theoretical Research (TR) programs. Investigators worldwide from all types of institutions are eligible to submit proposals in response to this CP. There are several new features in the Cycle-4 CP and investigators are urged to consult section 4 of the document early in their proposal planning process for a summary of major changes from Cycle-3. Two major changes are the reinstitution of Collaborative Spitzer-HST proposals and the commissioning of the MIPS 160 micron "Enhanced" photometry mode. Cycle-4 is 12 months long and will run from July 2007 through June 2008. GO/AR/TR proposals must be submitted electronically using Spot, the SSC proposal planning and submission software, and received no later than Wednesday, February 14, 2007, 1:00 PM PST. Note that Collaborative Spitzer-HST proposals are due Friday, January 26, 2007, 5:00 PM PST, with Letters of Intent due Friday, December 1, 2006, 5:00 PM PST.
