EXTENSION OF SPITZER CYCLE-4 PROPOSAL DEADLINE
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Due to the failure of ACS on HST, STScI has moved the Cycle-16 proposal
deadline to February 9, 2007, 8pm EST.  To help support the members of
our community submitting proposals to both HST and Spitzer, the Spitzer
Cycle-4 proposal deadline has been moved to Friday, February 16, 2007,
5pm PST.  The SSC does not have the resources to further compress the
schedule between the proposal due date and the Cycle-4 review.

*** CYCLE-4 PROPOSAL DEADLINE:  Friday, February 16, 2007, 5pm PST   ***

And remember, Cycle-5 proposals will also be due this year.  The  Cycle-5
deadline is November 16, 2007.
